Abstract

Natural resources play a vital role in the economic and social development of a country. They provide the foundation for many economic processes and have a direct impact on societal well-being. Their rational and sustainable use contributes to achieving a balance between economic benefits, social welfare, and the preservation of natural resources and the environment. The assessment of economic and social indicators enables the development of effective strategies for natural resource management and informed decision-making.

The aim of this article is to analyze and assess key economic and social indicators of the efficiency of natural resource use in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to identify the relationship between these indicators and sustainable development. The article seeks to provide scientifically grounded recommendations for improving natural resource management based on the principles of rational use and environmental sustainability.

Effective resource management is possible through a comprehensive assessment of economic and social indicators, which allows for informed decision-making and an increase in population welfare while maintaining ecological balance.
