Abstract
This article examines the impact of the pension system on the economy of Kazakhstan. The economic development of the state requires various financial investments, which should be sought by each country. Given the huge number of pensioners, their number exceeds 2.3 million citizens, which shows the ratio of one pensioner to five employees to the number of employees. At the same time, the assets of the pension system have already amounted to 17 trillion tenge, which is about 80% in relation to the republican budget. The study offers a foreign overview of the countries of the world, where the macroeconomic indicators of various states are evaluated. At the same time, information is provided on the ratio of pension expenditures to the state budget, which does not reflect the real level of influence of the pension system on economic processes.
